Romance writer Bronte Huntington has vowed she will never settle for anything less than ‘the one.’ When pleasant red-haired dentist Ryan moves in next door he just doesn’t fit the bill. They have plenty in common but Bronte wants nothing more than friendship with him.
Then it looks like Bronte’s dreams have finally come true when dashing Sebastian Fairfax rescues her on his horse after she has an accident in the countryside around her idyllic little cottage. Sebastian is tall, dark, handsome, and heir to a massive country estate!
But is Sebastian the one? Or will Bronte’s romantic dreams of the perfect hero turn out to be as fictional as her novels? And will Bronte’s temperamental cat ever stop getting in the way?!
The cover of the book immediately spoke to me, it fits well with the summary and I was immediately intruiged. Of course, from the first time Bronte meets Sebastian, you’ll know he’s not right for her. At times I wanted to smack Bronte in her face just to make her open her eyes. But of course, it’s the whole reason you’ll want to keep reading. Will Bronte end up with the person who’s perfect for her, or who she thinks should be perfect for her?
‘I need a hero’ is the perfect summer read, you’ll soon fall in love with the countryside, and of course I wanted to move into Bronte’s cottage whilst making a living as a writer. That sounds absolutely perfect to me!
If you love to swoon and be swept off your feet, escape to the countryside and fall in love with the main characters in the book, ‘I need a hero’ is the perfect read. You’ll want to shake Bronte, keep Mr Darcy and swoon with the romance in the story.
